A bordeaux blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, from the remarkable 2010 vintage. Aged in American and French oak barrels for 12 months. This fruit-forward Cabernet Merlot has an inviting bouquet of spicy clove, black pepper, licorice, anise on the nose. Fruity aromas of spiced plum and strawberry jam welcomes you to enjoy this wine. Predominant vanilla notes accentuate the bouquet. Savour dark berries on the palate: black cherry, blackberry, and black currant. Firm tannins allow ageability for this well-balanced, full-bodied wine with a lingering finish. This wine is guaranteed to delight your palate.

2010 Cabernet Franc Rose - $15.20

Notes

Our 2010 Cabernet Franc Rosé was made to be a rosé right from the vineyard. The grapes were crushed and left on the skins for just 3.5 hours. Just enough to extract a bright yet delicate pink colour. The extra sweetness is thanks to an amazing 2010 vintage, where the grapes were very ripe and full of flavour. A bouquet of fresh strawberry and raspberry; Refreshing, crisp and balanced. The finish is dry and lingering.

2009 Merlot - $19.20

Winemaker's Notes

Hand harvested on October 28. The vines were cropped at a very low yield of only 2.5 tons to the acre, to achieve maximum ripeness and strong flavour. It was left on the skins for 20 days, resulting in a deep coloured wine. This wine was aged in brand new French and American oak barrels for 12 months.

Tasting Notes

A smooth fruit forward blend of plum, black cherry and black currant, with some sweet spice on the nose. The palate is smooth, with ripe fruit and a lingering finish. Price: $19.00/bottle plus deposit
