2018 Bella Terra Cabernet Appassimento

Tasting Notes: Our 2018 Cabernet Appassimento is bright garnet in colour with tawny rim. On the nose, you get hints of fruit character with aromas of red fruit preserves like strawberry compote, sun-dried figs, dates and prunes. Followed with layers of hibiscus flower, leather and spices like cardamom and fresh tobacco.   

To taste, this dry wine starts with a balanced acidity and polished tannins, it is a full bodied wine with velvety texture and generous alcohol. To finish, it is layered with flavours of currants, plums, eucalyptus and cedar.

Food pairing: Roasted Veal with eschalots or the a traditional Bigoli co l’Anara.
